Pioneer
The Pioneers are part of the Camarilla, but where the Loyalists have a more modern approach to governance, they maintain the power that they already had. Louanne Grand, former Prince of the City, is the leader of this group of ambitious and cultured individuals. From The Seven Gables, a defunct theater secretly restored to its former grandeur, they supplement the efforts of the Loyalists with a focus on swaying mortals and preserving the heritage of Seattle. They are also the custodians of an extensive Neillson Library located beneath the theater which houses volumes related to Kindred history.
Lou’s influence leads the Pioneers to focus their efforts on more cultural elements of the city, particularly the arts and high society, but they also maintain their grasp on older educational and financial institutions like universities and banks and even have ties to more entrenched criminal elements that have been in Seattle since Prohibition.

The once reigning Prince of Seattle leads the Pioneer faction; while time has continued to pass and Kindred wonder why she stepped down, her power has yet to fade.

Not too much is known about him, but he serves as bodyguard for Lou Grand during events. Don’t mess around with the Pioneers unless you want to deal with him.
Dorian Watanabe

Works as a Librarian at the Seven Gables. This Toreador has wits and words as sharp as his blades. Even if he has a healthy dose of sass; he will often try to be a fair arbitrator. He works also as an agent and guard for the Tower and Pioneer’s agenda.
Carter Wellington

Carter is a Rose who loves to tell a good story, a strong drink, and the outdoors. Once a rich fur trapper he still enjoys hunting; he deals with threats that require more rugged hands. He works as a guardian to Pioneers and protects Camarilla’s interest.
Zack “Thackery” Macready

Constantly nervous and on edge, but very competent and meticulous. This Malkavian studies artifacts with Jolene in their investigations. He specializes in the occult aspect of their historical studies. He is the go to person to when Lou needs a trusted Occultist. He is a long time lover of Jolene.

A Toreador with an interest in stories of the past. She works out of museums solving old mysteries, reviewing relics, and furthering her own research. Her interest not only lies in the mundane, but occult as well. She is the go to person for an archivist or archeologist in the faction. She is partners in both sense of the word with Zack.
