What is needed at CC that is different from Clanned Kindred?
Thin-bloods must take 1-3 Thin-blood Merits and an equal amount of Thin-blood Flaws. When selecting these consider how the Flaws and Merits interact. For example, it is not possible to take a daywalker with the Ministry Clan Curse and be able to daywalk very much. Bestial Temper is required for certain Clan Curses.
At Character Creation, all thin-bloods receive a Predator Type and the first dot of a Discipline related. This Discipline can never be leveled up. This is homebrew, to give them slight edge against the much stronger Kindred present. If the character has Discipline Affinity, they do not get the discipline dot but are able to level the Discipline they choose through the Merit.

What is the Camarilla Brand and why is it important to think about?
In 2009 the Inner Circle of the Camarilla issued an edict that all Thin-bloods must be branded. This task is performed by an appointed Tremere in Seattle, and due to it being a Camarilla controlled domain, any unbranded duskborn will be branded or meet their Final Death. Mingling with Duskborn in a Camarilla domain, may make an Anarch and Autarkis think twice before getting too attached.
In Seattle, the brand is a crescent blood red moon. Thin-bloods are taught when they are branded that they must reveal this brand and leave it visible when in the presence of the court or in other Kindred establishments. It will only be placed on a visible body part, such as their face, arms, hands and neck. This brand not only identifies their lack of clan and weakness of Blood, but it also marks them as someone being watched by the Camarilla as if property.
Should a character be branded in play, they are given the flaw associated. If they are currently not maxed out (3 each) on Thin-blood Merits and Flaws, they are also given Camarilla Contact (Vane). It is recommended to take this Flaw at CC as currently it is likely the Kindred population will take the duskborn to be branded. You may take the Flaw at CC with the intention to have them Branded soon after arriving. When they are taken to be branded, you must schedule a time for the branding scene with the ST team and avoid being brought in until that time.

Blush of Life
Duskborn are considered to having Blush of Life active at all times, even without the Lifelike Merit. (No Rouse Check needed). They do still need to Rouse to wake,
Clan Curse
Thin-bloods do not Frenzy without the Bestial Temper Flaw, in order to take a bane that has a Frenzy element they must take this Flaw. Banu Haqim, Gangrel and Brujah all have Banes that require Clan Curse.
Thin-bloods Bane Severity is 0, unless they take Clan Curse where their Bane Severity is 1.
Discipline Affinity
The Discipline selected must come from their sire’s bloodline. The Discipline experience cost is as if it was out of Clan. This Merit removes the Homebrew for the free Discipline dot from their Predator Type. They instead still begin with 1 dot but are able to level it up through obtaining the needed Resonance.
Day Drinker
Day Drinkers must sleep for 8 hours per day. Upon waking from their 8 hours of sleep, a waking Rouse is required to animate their body. References to “no roll to wake up” refer to the Humanity roll to wake up and act during the day that applies to all Kindred. As long as a Day Drinker has slept at least 8 hours, they do not need to make that roll. If they need to wake up in the midst of that 8 hours, the normal Humanity roll would apply. When it’s being used within ST guided scenes (This may include some ask scenes), this may be altered by the ST depending on the situation to require a wake up roll, for example in cases of haven intrusions.
All posts during daywalking must be done first thing after reset within the server, if you post a night wake up you cannot later post a daytime expedition. Until it is posted in either the respective channel where it happened with the tag daytime it cannot be referenced by other players either. Please do the respective rolls needed as well. It is prohibited to attack or target other players during daywalking because they can’t fight back and would become very one-sided. If they have Bestial Temper they need to roll for the frenzy check.
When acting during the Daytime, Day Drinkers, like all Kindred, have their pools capped by their Humanity.
Other Advantages
For advantages, please consider how a thin-blood would have these things. They are the underdogs, they are the ‘clan’ least liked and least respected by the mass majority of the vampiric world.
You should also keep their exclusive merits and flaws into consideration, for example, thin-bloods cannot take a Mawla at CC as they instead have the merit Camarilla Contact or Anarch Comrades.
Loresheets are in the same vein as most are written for full-bloods and loresheets like Circulatory System would kill them before they even made it to CC. They cannot start with the Little Black Book. No full-blooded clan would accept them as a descendent either. They have their own loresheet located here.
Our server has a set Camarilla Contact that is optional. Vane, the clan rep can be used as the Camarilla Contact assuming they’ve been in the city prior to starting the RP.
Resonance and Thin-bloods
Duskborn do not have Disciplines, instead honing the arts of Alchemy. However, when they consume blood that contains Resonance they can unlock temporary Discipline dots. When they feed, if they receive at least fleeting temperament they may select a corresponding Discipline. If they feed from Intense resonance, they gain 2-dots worth to be spent in one Discipline. Upon the next feeding or Hunger 5 it is lost.
Those with Discipline Affinity cannot temporarily boost their chosen Discipline using this method. Instead they can boost it with an experience expenditure for a permanent increase, as per usual Discipline leveling rules.
Duskborn cannot use Oblivion Powers unless they have first drunk Vitae from a Kindred with Oblivion and been taught to use either the Hecata or the Lasombra branch. They can only use powers from the branches they have been taught.

Medical tests and mortals, how do they work?
Lifelike duskborn look dead when they enter daysleep, they appear as if a corpse. Medical stays through the night are still deadly, as with mortal roommates in a haven. Basic medical tests and examinations do not show anything as long as the duskborn is not in daysleep.
Alcohol, drugs, and other vices, how do they work?
When these substances are consumed by a Lifelike Kindred independently (Not through intoxicated mortals) they do not take the connected Intoxicated Blood penalty, they are however also not able to get a proper high or drunkenness either. Consumption in this manner will not resolve Addiction Flaws. For flavor they may be written as riding a buzz if they consume it often, but in order to go beyond that they must find blood tainted with the substances.
